This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of PBL is able to improve students' critical thinking skills which is characterized by increasing the ability to identify problems, analyze information, express opinions, and draw logical conclusions. In addition, students become more active and involved in the learning process. Supporting factors include the role of the teacher as a facilitator, the use of contextual problems, group cooperation, and the availability of learning resources. The inhibiting factors include differences in student abilities, time limitations, and low confidence of some students. Thus, PBL is effectively used to develop the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.
Rohmah Nurul Faiqoh, Elly Sukmanasa Copyright (c) 2026 Rohmah Nurul Faiqoh, Elly Sukmanasa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/230 Sat, 13 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Implementation of Constructivism Learning in Improving Understanding of The Concept of Building Flat For Grade 1 Students of SDN Ajung 01 Kalisat https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/232
Mathematics learning at the elementary school level plays a crucial role in shaping students' logical and analytical thinking skills. However, the low understanding of 1st grade students of SDN Ajung 01 Kalisat towards the concept of building flat triangles and squares is caused by a learning approach that is still memorized and only relies on image media in textbooks or digital media. This study aims to describe and examine the implementation of constructivist learning in improving the understanding of the concept of building flat for 1st grade students of SDN Ajung 01 Kalisat through the use of concrete media and direct learning experiences. The theory of constructivism was chosen because it facilitates students’ active construction of knowledge. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation data collection methods to provide an in-depth picture of the learning process in the classroom. The results of the study show that the application of constructivism theory can improve students' understanding of the concept of triangular and rectangular flat building materials. This can be seen from the ability of students to construct their own knowledge through concrete objects, increased exploratory activities in the classroom, and evaluation results that show a deeper understanding than before. The results of the study show that the use of the constructivist approach can create a more meaningful and relevant learning experience for 1st grade elementary school students.
Mero Vinky Pujasti Copyright (c) 2026 Mero Vinky Pujasti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/232 Sat, 13 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Analysis of the Negative Impact of Electoral Policies on The Geometric and Global Economy https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/236
This study examines the multidimensional impacts of electoral policies on geometric economy models and global stability through a qualitative literature review approach. The analysis reveals that political uncertainty during election cycles significantly disrupts geometric growth consistency, with a 1–2% decline in growth ratio (r) leading to an annual GDP loss of 0.3–0.5%. Money politics systematically distorts optimal resource allocation, diverting up to 40% of budgets to non-productive activities and reducing the marginal productivity of capital (MPK) by 0.8–1.2%. Financial market volatility, particularly in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and rupiah exchange rates, follows election-related fluctuation patterns, though mitigated by Bank Indonesia's interest rate stabilization and foreign reserve interventions. Globally, political instability in strategic nations disrupts supply chains and international trade. Sectors with exponential growth characteristics, such as technology, experience greater disruptions compared to linearly growing sectors like agriculture. The study recommends campaign financing reforms, monetary-fiscal policy coordination, and public education to minimize electoral disruptions to geometric economic models and global stability. These findings underscore the need for evidence-based policies to balance democratic processes with sustainable economic growth.
Cut Nova Rianda, Mukhsinuddin Copyright (c) 2026 Cut Nova Rianda, Mukhsinuddin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/236 Sat, 13 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Localization of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Norms in Indonesia https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/259
This study analyzes the norm localization process of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Indonesia through a constructivist international relations framework. Despite Indonesia's ratification of international SRHR instruments, particularly the 1994 ICPD Programme of Action, domestic implementation reveals selective and uneven adaptation patterns. Using an explanatory qualitative approach, this research examines why certain global SRHR norms are accepted while others are rejected or restricted. Data were collected through policy document analysis, national regulations, and secondary literature, analyzed using Acharya's norm localization framework and Wiener's norm contestation perspective. Findings reveal three distinct localization patterns: family planning norms were successfully institutionalized due to alignment with state development agendas; comprehensive sexuality education faced substantial resistance from religious and conservative actors; and safe abortion access norms were largely rejected through increasingly restrictive domestic regulations. This study demonstrates that global norm diffusion is not a linear process, but a negotiated terrain shaped by national identity, religious authority, and domestic political interests.
Andrew Elnathan, Shamfira Putri Salsabila, Refa Defanda Witanto, Raki Narendri Rahmadani, Muhammad Rizky Asy Syafi`i Suwandi, Abdul Nurrafif Prayata, Henny Rosalinda Copyright (c) 2026 Andrew Elnathan, Shamfira Putri Salsabila, Refa Defanda Witanto, Raki Narendri Rahmadani, Muhammad Rizky Asy Syafi`i Suwandi, Abdul Nurrafif Prayata, Henny Rosalinda https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/259 Sat, 13 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Government Policies on Raising Cigarette Taxes and Excise for Indonesians According to Tasharruful Imam Ala Ra'iyyah Manuthun Bil Maslahah Rules https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/240
This study examines the Indonesian government's policy of increasing tobacco excise rates from the perspective of fiqh siyasah, specifically the principle of Tasharruful Imam 'Ala Ra'iyah Manuthun BilMaslahah, which asserts that every action of a leader must be oriented toward public welfare. The main focus of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the exercise policy in reducing cigarette consumption, minimizing health impacts, and increasing state revenue amid the growing circulation of illegal cigarettes. This study employs a normative legal method with a juridical-normative approach through library research that reviews relevant regulations, academic literature, and data from official institutions. The findings indicate that, normatively, the policy has a strong legal foundation, namely Law Number 39 of 2007 concerning Excise and Government Regulation Number 28 of 2024 concerning the Control of Addictive Substances. Theoretically, this policy is effective through the mechanism of price elasticity; however, in practice, its effectiveness is hindered by the widespread distribution of illegal cigarettes, weak enforcement, complex tax structures, and low public awareness. Therefore, optimizing the tobacco excise policy requires simplifying the excise structure, strengthening law enforcement against illegal cigarettes, and implementing cross-sectoral educational campaigns grounded in Islamic ethics and social justice. Through these comprehensive measures, the excise policy can function not only as a fiscal instrument but also as a tangible manifestation of public health protection and societal welfare.
M. Unlike election dispute cases which have strict statutory deadlines, judicial review proceedings often experience undue delays. This research aims to analyze the legal implications of this norm vacuum and formulate an ideal case settlement concept through the perspective of Siyasah Dusturiyah. The method employed is juridical-normative with statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that the absence of a time limit in Law Number 7 of 2020 creates legal uncertainty, which contravenes the principle of a speedy trial (contante justitie). From the perspective of Siyasah Dusturiyah, this condition violates the principles of Al-‘Adl (justice) and ‘Adam al-Ta’khir (prohibition of delaying rights) within the judicial power (Wilayatul Qadha). Therefore, a reconstruction of regulations establishing a maximum duration for case settlement is necessary for the benefit of justice seekers.

Muhammad Imam Syuhada, Muhammad Syuib, Bustamam Usman Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Imam Syuhada, Muhammad Syuib, Bustamam Usman https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/252 Sat, 13 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Social Dynamics Among Regular Students Toward the Presence of Students with Special Needs in Collaborative Learning in Inclusive Schools https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/256
Inclusive education aims to give students with special needs access to learning and affects the social lives of regular students through interactions in diverse classrooms. This study seeks to describe the social dynamics of regular students expected to include students with special needs in collaborative learning at SMP Negeri 18, Malang. The research used a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and learning documentation. The subjects were teachers who taught inclusively, Special Education Teachers, regular students, and students identified as having special needs. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, whereas data validity was tested using source and technique triangulation. The findings show that peers do not see students with disabilities as obstacles to learning. Instead, they fostered empathy, tolerance, care, and social responsibility. Teachers view inclusive classrooms as places for character education that improves the academic and social experiences of all students. Regular students often help their peers with special needs by explaining their instructions, completing tasks, or adjusting their pace of work in groups. These results confirm that inclusive classrooms can promote a culture of mutual acceptance and support collaborative learning. This study implies the need to develop teachers' strategies for managing peer interactions, not just adapting the curriculum for students with special needs.
Wida Febriana, Mardhatillah Copyright (c) 2026 Wida Febriana, Mardhatillah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/256 Tue, 16 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Settlement of Inheritance Disputes by A Mediator Through Mediation at The Bima Religious Court https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/260
This study examines the mediation of inheritance disputes by mediators at the Bima Religious Court. Inheritance disputes often lead to ongoing debates due to differences in interests, understanding of Islamic inheritance law, and the influence of customs and family relationships. Therefore, mediation is considered a solution that can foster harmony and maintain relationships between heirs. This study aims to analyze how mediation is conducted, the factors that contribute to its success, and the factors that cause its failure in resolving inheritance disputes at the Bima Religious Court. This study uses empirical methods. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving judge mediators, non-judge mediators, and other related individuals. The results show that the mediation process occurs in several stages: pre-mediation steps, mediation, and implementation of mediation results in accordance with PERMA Number 1 of 2016. The success of mediation is influenced by the mediator's neutrality, ability to facilitate communication, and the sincere intentions of the participants. However, mediation may be unsuccessful due to a lack of participants or the mediator's lack of understanding of the issues at hand. Therefore, increasing the effectiveness of mediation requires strengthening the role of the mediator and increasing the parties' recognition of the value of achieving a peaceful resolution.
Andi Muhammad Galib, Zuhrah, Muhammad Amin Copyright (c) 2026 Andi Muhammad Galib, Zuhrah, Muhammad Amin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/260 Tue, 16 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Models of Improving The Quality of Education From The Perspective of Education Management https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/234
Quality of education is one of the main indicators of the success of education implementation and has a strategic role in human resource development. The low quality of graduates, weak relevance of education to the needs of the community, and lack of effective management of educational institutions show that quality improvement cannot be separated from education management. This article aims to examine the concept of education quality, describe various models for improving the quality of education, and analyze these models from the perspective of education management. This study used a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data were obtained from national and international journal articles, proceedings, research reports, and other relevant academic documents. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques through conceptual grouping, model categorization, and theory synthesis. The results of the study show that quality of education is the result of a planned and sustainable management process, which includes the dimensions of input, process, output, and outcome. Various models of education quality improvement, such as total quality management, school-based management, continuous improvement, the input-process-output model, and internal quality assurance, have a strong theoretical and relevant foundation to be applied in education management. The perspective of education management helps us understand that quality improvement requires a systemic approach, effective leadership, supportive organizational culture, and the participation of all stakeholders.
Tamlekha, Sunan Hanif Ihsan Assalaam, Uus Ruswandi Copyright (c) 2026 Tamlekha, Sunan Hanif Ihsan Assalaam, Uus Ruswandi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/234 Thu, 18 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Artificial Intelligence in Early Childhood Education https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/247
This study discusses the use of artificial intelligence in early childhood education from the perspective of Islamic religious education. The background of this research emerged because AI technology began to be used in children's learning, but it was not fully aligned with Islamic moral values and teachings. This study aims to explain how AI is used in early childhood learning, identify opportunities that can be utilized, and identify challenges that arise in its use. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, which involves collecting and reading various journals, books, and scientific sources related to research topics, and then analyzing them by grouping, comparing, and compiling findings so that they are easy to understand. The results of the study show that AI can facilitate learning to be more interesting, fast, and in accordance with children's abilities through media such as games, videos, chatbots, and smart learning systems. AI makes it easier for teachers to prepare materials and understand children's development. However, challenges such as the risk of misunderstanding religious teachings, reliance on technology, reduced social interaction, and ethical and data security issues exist. In Islamic religious education, AI cannot replace the role of teachers because teachers guide morals and set direct examples. Therefore, AI should be used as a tool that remains under the guidance of teachers and parents so that learning runs well without leaving religious values.
Epy Pujiaty, Fahrisya Rahayul Hadi Copyright (c) 2026 Epy Pujiaty, Fahrisya Rahayul Hadi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/247 Sun, 21 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Implementation of the Picture and Picture Learning Model for Grade IV Students at SDIK Asy-Syafi'i https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/249
This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Picture and Picture learning model in improving the learning outcomes of students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in grade IV of SDIK Asy-Syafi'i. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design method in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants were 18 students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests in the form of pre- and post-tests. The data obtained were then analyzed using the calculation of the average and Normalized Gain (N-Gain). The results showed that the average pre-test score of 66.39 increased to 85.00 in the post-test, with an increase of 19.11 points. The N-Gain value obtained was 0.66, which was in the medium category. In addition, the completeness of students' learning increased from 44% to 78%. These results demonstrate that the application of the PiPeL model is effective in improving student learning outcomes. This model can increase students' activity and understanding through the use of visual media in the learning process. Thus, the PiP learning model can be used as an alternative to improve the quality of learning, especially in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools.
Imas Masripah, Jihan Magrfirah Copyright (c) 2026 Imas Masripah, Jihan Magrfirah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/249 Sun, 21 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning Through The Exploration of Museum Mpu Purwa as A Social Studies Learning Resource https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/254
Social studies education should link historical ideas with students' social and cultural backgrounds. Yet, teaching often focuses on textbooks and doesn't fully use resources near schools. This study examines how Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is applied by using the Mpu Purwa Museum as a learning tool for seventh graders at SMPN 18 Malang. The study used a descriptive qualitative method, involving one social studies teacher, 31 students, and a museum guide. Data were gathered through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, document analysis, and learning materials like lesson plans, student worksheets, field notes, and student presentations. Data analysis included data condensation, thematic coding, data display, and drawing conclusions, with credibility ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member checking. The findings revealed that CTL was implemented in three integrated stages: planning, museum-based activities, and authentic assessment with reflection. The planning stage incorporated seven CTL components into the lesson design. The implementation stage included orientation, guide explanation, group observation, inquiry-based worksheet completion, presentation, and reflection. The evaluation stage used authentic assessment focusing on observation accuracy, artifact interpretation, collaborative discussion, presentation, and reflective meaning-making. The study concludes that the Mpu Purwa Museum can serve as a contextual, concrete, and culturally meaningful learning resource when museum exploration is intentionally aligned with CTL principles, curriculum goals, student inquiry, and reflective assessment.
Nely Zulfatin Niamah, Mardhatillah, Asyih Witayati Copyright (c) 2026 Nely Zulfatin Niamah, Mardhatillah, Asyih Witayati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/254 Sun, 21 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Internalization of Panca Cinta Values in Curriculum to Foster Character among Islamic Education Program Students, Faculty of Tarbiyah, UIN Ar-Raniry https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/253
This study aims to analyze the process and strategies for internalizing the values of Panca Cinta within the curriculum of the Islamic Education Program (PAI), Faculty of Tarbiyah, UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, in shaping students’ moderate character. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed systematically through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the values of Panca Cinta—which include love for Allah and the Prophet, fellow human beings, knowledge, the environment, as well as the nation and homeland have been integrated into the curriculum, both in learning outcomes and across various courses. The process of value internalization occurs through three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization, enabling students not only to understand the values cognitively but also to internalize and practice them in their daily lives. The strategies employed include humanistic learning, lecturers’ role modeling, habituation, reflective dialogue, and reinforcement through co-curricular and extracurricular activities. In addition, the evaluation of value internalization is conducted continuously by emphasizing cognitive, affective, and behavioral aspects. The study also reveals that the implementation of a Panca Cinta-based curriculum has a positive impact on shaping students’ moderate character, as reflected in their tolerance, empathy, responsibility, and ability to live harmoniously in diversity. Thus, the internalization of Panca Cinta values in the PAI curriculum represents an effective approach to developing Islamic education that is humanistic, contextual, and responsive to societal needs.
Lismijar, Fakhrul Rijal, Fadhlan Karima Copyright (c) 2026 Lismijar, Fakhrul Rijal, Fadhlan Karima https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/253 Mon, 22 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The Singosari Temple Virtual Tour and Junior High School Students' Social Studies Learning Motivation https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/258
When students only hear dry accounts of Hindu and Buddhist history and culture in class and do not see or connect with any media, they may lose interest and desire to learn. This study aimed to examine how a video walk of Singosari Temple affected the desire to learn in junior high school students. A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a control group that was not the same was used as the research method. The sample consisted of 64 seventh-grade students from SMPN 18 Malang. Thirty-two students from grade VII I were in the experimental group and 32 students from grade VII D were in the control group. A four-point Likert scale questionnaire that measures the desire to learn social sciences was used. It was checked for accuracy and reliability. To look at the data, we used descriptive statistics, Levene's homogeneity test, Shapiro-Wilk's normality test, and an independent-samples t-test on change scores. The motivation of the experimental group went up from M = 52.47 to M = 68.22, which is an increase of 15.75, while the motivation of the control group went up from M = 51.84 to M = 56.65, which is an increase of 4.81. The difference in scores for improvement was statistically significant (t(61) = 8.61, p <.001, d = 2.17), as shown by the t-test. The results of this study show that the video walk of Singosari Temple made students much more interested and excited about learning social sciences.
Meqqi Vierza, Mardhatillah Copyright (c) 2026 Meqqi Vierza, Mardhatillah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/258 Tue, 23 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Digital Technology Management in Learning and Academic Administration https://teunulehjournal.com/index.php/jiteunuleh/article/view/265
Digital transformation in higher education necessitates the integration of technology into learning management and academic administration. Despite the widespread adoption of technology, its optimal use to enhance learning quality and the effectiveness of academic services remains inconsistent. This study seeks to analyze the use of digital technology in learning management and academic administration at China University of Petroleum (East China) and to identify the impacts and challenges encountered during its implementation. A mixed-methods approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected from 120 respondents, including students, lecturers, and administrative staff, through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were examined through thematic analysis. The findings reveal a high level of digital technology adoption, evidenced by the use of a learning management system (91.7%), virtual classrooms (85.0%), mobile applications (83.3%), and digital assessment systems (78.3%). Digital technology has been shown to improve learning accessibility, academic administrative efficiency, and student engagement. However, its application remains largely confined to course material delivery and does not fully support interactive learning. The novelty of this research lies in its integrated analysis of learning management and academic administration within the context of digital transformation in higher education. The study concludes that successful digital transformation relies not only on technology availability but also on the integration of pedagogy, enhancement of digital literacy, and strengthening of user competencies to support sustainable educational quality.
Zhang Shuhao, Karta Sasmita, Muh.
